A national site that I like is All About Jazz. For local musicians looking to hook up with like-minded players, buy or sell gear, or anything else music-related, there is no better site than St. Louis Musician. Think you want a DJ for your event? The best, most professional folks around are at Millennium Music. The KM4 partners with them on packages if you are looking for a combination of DJ and live music. Looking for a great live music group that’s much larger than four? Two I can strongly recommend is Sundance (which KM4 sax player Steve Kauffmann also plays in) and Yessir! (which KM4 singer Barb Jochens used to sing in). Both of these groups are filled with great players and terrific people. To keep up with all the great festivals in and around town, there’s St. Louis Jazz Club. Though my favorite, the biggest little jazz festival around, is in my home town: Webster Groves Jazz Festival.
